Chhattisgarh has a strong base of metal industries. A large number of iron & steel, power and cement plants already exists. To cater to the ever increasing demand for downstream products a Metal Park is being established at Rawabhata 12 kms from Raipur. 

In the first phase Metal Park is being developed in 46 hect. of land. Plots will be availble for downstream metal (ferro and non ferro) indsutries like tower manufacturing units, wind mills, nut-bolt, hand tools, forgings, castings, utensils, auto components, machine manufacturing, Pipes/tubes manufacturing, Cutting tools, dies & fixtures, railway track material, wire ropes, transformers, welding electrodes, modular furniture / kitchen, control panels etc.  Plots of various sizes ranging from 1000 sqmt. to 10000 sqmt. shall be available. The metal park shall provide quality infrastructure like  roads, water supply, street light, commercial and amenities zone. Presently infrastructure development wok is in progress. Booking for plots shall be opened shortly.
